ThoroFan releases the “2010 Guide to Saratoga Trainers’ Saddle Towels” Booklet

The 16-page color booklet contains pictures of the saddle cloths used by Saratoga trainers when working their horses in the mornings and features the 2009 leading trainer at Saratoga and the first woman to achieve this distinction, Linda Rice, on the cover. 
The books will be available free at ThoroFan Corner and at selected locations in the City if Saratoga Springs.
“This booklet which contains over 140 images will be a fantastic aid for fans of Thoroughbred racing to identify particular horses and trainers while watching the morning workouts at the track,” according to Bob Giordano, Education Co-Chair for the Saratoga Chapter of ThoroFan.
The pocket guide book will be available mornings at ThoroFan Corner at Saratoga Race Course. ThoroFan Corner is a designated area in the clubhouse for ThoroFan members with their membership card to watch workouts beginning at 5:30 a.m. every race day except Travers Saturday.
