WHAT WAS THE PREVIOUS NAME OF THE MOST RECENT ARIZONA DOWNS?

 In 1959 Prescott Downs opened in Arizona. It raced from that year to 2000 as Arizona Downs. The name was changed to Yavapai Downs in honor of a local native American Indian tribe. It continued to race for nearly a decade and closed in 2010 when it filed for bankruptcy. In 2013 the property was purchased and in 2014 new track was established named PV Speedway. It lasted about one year, filing for bankruptcy in 2015. The track property remained baron until 2018 when it was purchased and re-engineered as the new Arizona Downs which opened in 2019. Currently the track is closed because of COVID-19, however reopening is still in question.
