WHICH WINNER OF THE RACE NOW KNOWN AS THE HOLY BULL STAKES WON THE MOST TRIPLE CROWN RACES?
1/30/2020

The history of the Holy Bull Stakes (GIII) can be traced back to the Preview Stakes. The Preview Stakes replaced the Flamingo Stakes that ceased to exist following the closure of Hialeah Park Race Track. The Preview Stakes was renamed the Holy Bull Stakes in 1996 which was won that year by Cobra King. Prior to that year a horse trained by Nick Zito and ridden by Jerry Bailey won the race and went on to win the Kentucky Derby and the Preakness Stakes. He lost the Belmont Stakes to Tabasco Cat.
