WHO TRAINED THE 1988 CHAMPION MALE TURF HORSE, SUNSHINE FOREVER?

 Sunshine Forever was an impeccably bred turf horse. He was sired by Roberto. He was born in 1985 and retired from racing in 1989. 1988 was his best year. He won five graded turf races and finished second d behind Great Communicator in the Breeders’ Cup Turf. His year ended with the award of the Champion Male Turf Horse of the Year. I989 he competed nobly, although with less success than in 1988. His stud efforts were less than stellar. He was later sent to Japan for stud duty. In 2004 at age 19 he returned to the United States to retire at Old Friends in Georgetown Kentucky. He had ten years of quality of life there he passed away on January 7, 2014 at age 29. During his racing career he amassed a record of 8 wins, 6 seconds and s thirds for his owner Darby Dan Farms. He was trained by John M Veitch.
